Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced new job opportunities for eligible candidates in 2024. Available Positions

WAPDA is hiring for the following positions:

1. Director General (Vigilance)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Eligibility:
     • Retired Brigadier or equivalent rank from Armed Forces.
     • Intelligence Staff Course (ISC) or Officer Basic Intelligence Course (OBIC) qualification.
     • Preferably from CMI with at least 08 years of experience in intelligence duties.
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Quota: Open Merit
2. Director (Vigilance)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Eligibility:
     • Retired Colonel or equivalent rank from Armed Forces.
     • ISC or OBIC qualification.
     • Minimum 05 years of experience in intelligence duties.
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Quota: Open Merit
3. Deputy Director (Vigilance)
   • Vacancies: 01
   • Eligibility:
     • Retired Major or equivalent rank from Armed Forces.
     • ISC or OBIC qualification.
     • Minimum 03 years of experience in intelligence duties.
   • Age Limit: 50 years
   • Quota: Open Merit

General Instructions & Conditions

• The appointments will be made on a contract basis for three years (extendable based on performance).
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
• There is no age relaxation beyond the prescribed limit.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
• Candidates must have a clear disciplinary record.
• Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
• Any false information found at any stage will result in immediate disqualification.
