Available Job Positions

NBP is inviting applications for the following positions:

1. Unit Head – FTI’s Advisory (AVP/VP)

  • Reporting To: Wing Head – AML/CFT Governance & Analytics
  • Qualification: Minimum graduation from HEC-recognized local or international institutions; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CGSS) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in banking, including 4 years in compliance, AML/CFT, or correspondent banking.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement AML/CFT policies
    • Analyze and enhance existing compliance frameworks
    • Assess correspondent banking risk and conduct AML/CFT due diligence

2. Manager – KYC/CDD (OG-I/AVP)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head – KYC/CDD
  • Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized institutions; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking, including 3 years in KYC/CDD compliance.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and KYC requirements
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct periodic risk profiling and assessment of banking customers
    • Evaluate internal assessment reports on high-risk relationships
    • Implement policies for customer due diligence

3. Manager – CFT (OG-I/AVP)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head – CFT Desk
  • Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized institutions; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking, including 3 years in CFT compliance.
  • Skills Required:
    • Expertise in AML/CFT regulations and sanctions screening
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Responsibilities:
    • Implement CFT frameworks in line with SBP regulations
    • Conduct audits and transaction monitoring for compliance
    • Report potential terrorist financing activities to regulatory authorities

4. Sanctions Analyst (OG-II/OG-I)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head – Sanctions Screening
  • Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized institutions; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in banking, including 1 year in sanctions screening or CFT compliance.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong understanding of AML/CFT laws and regulations
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Detail-oriented and highly analytical
  • Responsibilities:
    • Investigate transactions for potential sanction violations
    • Monitor customer accounts for suspicious activities
    • Implement controls for regulatory compliance

5. AML Analyst (OG-II/OG-I)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head – Transaction Monitoring
  • Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized institutions; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in banking, including 1 year in AML/CFT compliance.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong knowledge of AML regulations and transaction monitoring
    • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Responsibilities:
    • Monitor transactions for suspicious activities
    • Report potential AML violations to regulatory bodies
    • Ensure compliance with SBP guidelines

6. KYC Officer (OG-II/OG-I)

  • Reporting To: Unit Head – KYC/CDD
  • Qualification: Graduation from HEC-recognized institutions; Master’s degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in banking, including 1 year in KYC/CDD compliance.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of banking regulations
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct KYC/CDD reviews and risk assessments
    • Ensure compliance with customer due diligence policies
    • Assist in resolving AML compliance issues

Assessment Test & Interviews

  • The selected individuals will be offered contractual positions for three years, which may be renewed based on performance.
